The only thing I ever liked from Rock was Everybody Hates Chris. That was an actual funny show.

Thank you, I agree and it highlights the fact that Chris Rock is only tolerable in a scripted show. When he's free to say anything he wants the results are usually awful.

Chris Rock's performance at the Oscars was uncalled for. The people in the audience were fully aware of the criticism surrounding this year's nominees. They all "get-it" and so did all of us watching. Kicking a dead horse is never a good idea and Chris Rock's decision to rant on-stage was too much for me.

We deserve better!

Mr Magic
Chris made a better host Ellen Degenerate.

Chris helped raise money for Girl Scout cookies.

Ellen did some lame selfie.

Mr Magic
Moving on.

Platoon is another Oscar-worthy film. Oliver Stone wanted to capture the realism of the Vietnam War. I never experienced the horrors of Vietnam. I wasn't around when the war was taking place. But I can imagine the brutality and anger the soldiers must've felt.

Poor Elias. He was a good soldier, dying for his country.
