The weather here in PA is getting pretty inconsistent. Were still having days that are in the high 70's and then having low 40's the next day.

What area of PA are you in?

I'm near the center of the state.

I'm in Western PA and today we did get some snow flurries but it still hasn't really been cold enough for any snow to really stick. Today was in the 30s but they're calling for it to get up to around 60 for Thanksgiving weekend. We picked up a bag of rock salt at the store today just to be on the safe side.

I don't mind the warmer Thanksgiving day, so long as it's a cold, white Christmas.

It's cold in the Deep South.

I must be dreaming.

Its going to be one crazy winter when the south is in a deep freeze.

Better than consecutive days of the weather being warm during the fall.

I was right outside of Allentown about 2 hours from New York. My first real winter was in 2012 I think when the snow on the sidewalks was like 4 feet high from the plows.

Pfft. Call me when the snow is 4 feet high from the snow

Winters here used to be "snowier". At least that's my recollection of childhood winters. I can remember seeing my dad outside in our driveway cutting the snow into squares to shovel off, and it being up to his knees. That was not a unusual site to me. Now, we're lucky to get much snow at all. Every once in a while we have a good snow, but it just seems like the weather patterns here have changed.

I feel like that too. Seems like the snow would frequently be two feet deep when I was in high school. Now it never does. I'm in a different part of the country and maybe it's just nostalgia, but it's nice to see I'm not the only one who noticed this.
