The original World Candies Monster Candy Cigarettes have the word Cigarettes on the front and side and a copyright date of 1963.



By the mid-sixties they swapped out the word Cigarettes for Candy.
Originally there was a Mummy on green since discontinued, Creature from
the Black Lagoon on orange and later blue, Phantom of the Opera on
yellow, the Wolf Man on red, Frankenstein's Monster on blue and orange,
and Dracula on purple. They have been made since the sixties and can
even be found today.



Those ones look to be from around late eighties to early nineties with the Creature from the Black Lagoon on green, Frankenstein's Monster on orange, Phantom of the Opera on yellow, Dracula on purple, and the Wolf Man on red or the newer blue.

Thanks for the info on the Monster Candy packs NLogan. I checked one of the candy sticks and it is one to a pack, about 3/4 of an inch wide ( just slightly less wide than the boxes ), and a bit shorter than the box length. It had designs pressed into it; images of monster faces. It was brown ( not sure if that is from age or just the color they were manufactured with ).
