The first time I heard "West End Girls" I was in my old Mercury Marquis on Military Highway south of Seattle. By mid song I had to pull over - It was Music Heaven! For the next few days I would glance around whenever the song hit the radio, I can still see the looks on other driver's faces - they felt the same way I did, the song is that good. There was something magic in the air at that time. Alongside the music was some of the best shows on television and at the movie theaters. The 1986/1987 Super Saturday cartoon lineup was one of the best of the 20th century, (until the rise of W-B in the 90's!). Stuff I watched in '86 and '87 still stays with me. Remember This?
