Her album from 2015 is extremely good and is one of the best of the year.

Vaporman - I will say this until the day I die, The 80's was an unparalleled Music Era, even greater than the much lauded 1960's!

"West End Girls" has been selected as "Song of the Decade" by some websites, and I agree. It's like the entire decade was building up to the moment this song was first released. The 1985 studio session is the only version I've ever heard and it's the one that took over my imagination.

The first time I heard "West End Girls" I was in my old Mercury Marquis on Military Highway south of Seattle. By mid song I had to pull over - It was Music Heaven! For the next few days I would glance around whenever the song hit the radio, I can still see the looks on other driver's faces - they felt the same way I did, the song is that good.

There was something magic in the air at that time. Alongside the music was some of the best shows on television and at the movie theaters. The 1986/1987 Super Saturday cartoon lineup was one of the best of the 20th century, (until the rise of W-B in the 90's!).

Stuff I watched in '86 and '87 still stays with me. Remember This?

Ha! That's a great story, Edd. I know that feeling. When a song just sweeps you away into it and it suddenly feels like it's your theme song to whatever your're doing.

Yes I do remember that. It's funny in that it captures the whole tone of 80's music and the music video revolution and turns it into a Nestle commercial. Great ad.
