Look what I found while searching thru my stuff. I made this scans for a site I'm not longer fond of a few years ago... this magazine gave the first looks at Grim Fandango when it was first announced, AND a guide to go thru Monkey Island 2 in 1993! I miss the thing

My favorite athlete for many years was Chris Mullin...



"Mully" was a 5 time NBA All Star, played on not one, but two Olympic teams, and made the Warriors a team that was no push over for nearly a decade. His sweet, smooth, shooting style was something I tried to emulate whenever I played basketball. I even sported the flat top for a few years in honor of him. In a sport with a very small pool of Caucasian players, he could hold his own with the best the NBA had to offer. He was a bit weak on defense, and much of his offense was generated off of picks, but I watched him take defenders one on one countless times and make them look bad, so he could do it when he needed to. Wish I could see him play one more time in his prime.

He's known for having a very long undefeated streak in World Championship Wrestling. 173-0! No wrestler will ever have that kind of streak again. He played football for the University of Georgia and he was in the NFL, but not for very long.

One of the key moments of his wrestling career was winning the WCW World Heavyweight Title in 1998.

So... it took me almost a year, but I finally beat the first level on Super Mario 2 (I kid you not, the thing bores me a lot). Hurray, hurray for me!

For most games, the 1st level is usually easy.

It is probably quite easy, but the game bores me out of my mind.

And yet the weird thing is that I'm the same guy who has beaten Silver Surfer effortlessly. Yeah, I've got some problems xD

I always did have trouble with the 1st Silver Surfer level. NES is known for making challenging games.
