I recently got the EON GC-HD MK-II. It's an HDMI/Component adapter for the Gamecube that taps into the console's digital signal. Before, the only way you can do so is through Nintendo's very expensive component cables for the Gamecube that currently sells for hundreds of dollars. It was just recently that we were finally beginning to get some viable cheaper alternatives to tap into the Gamecube's digital port, and the EON GCHD MK-II adapter was one of them.



So, I decided to experiment with it, and revisit my old Animal Crossing town. If you ever want to know what happens if you boot the game up after a really long time, this video will explain just that.



I also have a little bit of fun with exploring the game's NES emulation. It's funny how I used to love the game's NES emulation. Now, I think it looks a bit "ehh...", but it was nice seeing Nintendo beginning to experiment with NES emulation before they rolled out the Virtual Console.
