Really? I always got the impression that Arnie was a step above Sly. He had so many big movies in the 80's... Conan, Terminator, Predator, Running Man, Commando, Twins...

Sly had a bunch of Rambo and Rocky sequels... except for maybe, Tango and Cash.

Should there have been a Tango and Cash sequel?

Sly grossed more at the box office, but you're right he did a lot more films. Arnie is only slightly behind buy with a lot less movies.

Arnie and Sly collaborating seem to have worked. Remember "Escape Plan"?

The problem is Arnold is still trying to make a young man's movie. He needs to transition into something more suitable. He's great at comedy so should do lighthearted roles. The era of non super hero action movies with one liners is over!

I think the era of doing them in a serious way is over. He could still do them as tongue in cheek roles, like Expendables and Last Action Hero.
