Yeah, working in a kitchen during a major holiday flat out sucks. Just be thankful all you had to do was wash dishes and not make the actual food like I had to.

yeah i mean, i know we've had our busy days but it felt like the whole population in my area went there to eat that day. my feet were extremely sore by the end of the day because of how much running around i had to do, going in the kitchen to stock dishes, going back to wash a dozen more, waiting for customers to stop talking to each other so the busser could finally grab their plates, it was hell. two jobs earlier i was working as a table busser myself, but it didn't feel nearly as hectic when it got busy like that.
