Yeah, ratings and listing the movie don't feel like enough in this thread. I want to see Jrs and G3 elaborate.

Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind

How can I describe it? It was weird, interesting, colorful, dramatic and had good action. That's how I like my Japanimation.

Crank - 2006 - Ridiculous for intentional reasons yet not, as far as I can tell, intentionally ridiculous. This  action movie has the flattest characters possible and a lot of cheeseball showoff effects (subtitles reversed and blurred, as if from the speaker's point of view; stuttering footage to emphasize action points). The main character can't stop or he dies, a threadbare conceit to allow for nonstop everything. While I can appreciate that goal, it's too simple and very stupid. The whole thing feels like it was made by obnoxious, albeit creative and rich 14 year olds. TV (ION Life). 2/5

One of my favorites. I don't care what anyone says, this movie is awesome! I have the whole franchise in one DVD set.
