The women of New Vegas ask me a lot if there's a Mrs. New Vegas. Well, of course there is! You're her. And you're still just as perfect as the day we met.

Romy and Michele's High School Reunion - 1997 - A good palate cleanser after that. A 90s time capsule with a well-trodden plot, main characters that end up less ditzy or shallow than they first appear, and an easy, satisfying triumph. Netflix. 4/5
Crank - 2006 - Ridiculous for intentional reasons yet not, as far as I can tell, intentionally ridiculous. This action movie has the flattest characters possible and a lot of cheeseball showoff effects (subtitles reversed and blurred, as if from the speaker's point of view; stuttering footage to emphasize action points). The main character can't stop or he dies, a threadbare conceit to allow for nonstop everything. While I can appreciate that goal, it's too simple and very stupid. The whole thing feels like it was made by obnoxious, albeit creative and rich 14 year olds. TV (ION Life). 2/5 -end quote
