41748Interesting Child's Play fact.My brother in law told me about ten years ago the story of Robert The Doll. It's quite fascinating and the doll itself is in a museum in Key West. I saw that it's possible Chucky was inspired from that story. I'm not sure if it's true, but i'd not be surprised.

For those that don't know about Robert:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_(doll)
Dalek227Dec 31, 2018View
41747A Perfect World (1993)I loved this movie. I love movies like this where it's not all black and white. The kind that make you sympathize and grow to like the "bad" guy because they humanize them and you see that while they've done wrong there may have been a reason for it or they aren't all bad.Dalek227Dec 31, 2018View
41746The Raccoons are making a comeback!I LOVED this show. I live in the US and couldn't tell you what channel I watched it on, but I was one of the few people i knewback in the 80's that was lucky enough to have a satellite dish. It was one of those gigantic ones that would have to be installed in the backyard. I couldn't even tell you what the service that came with it was, but it was huge and you could hear it and see it move when channels were changed. We had Disney and Nickelodeon and all kinds of channels. Cable didn't come in where we lived. I know I also had a VHS tape of the show because I remember there were commercials for the cartoon series Seabert (Seabeart the seal is on his way. Sebeart the seal is here to stay) on there. Seabert may have also been shown on that channel but i'm not sure. Dalek227Dec 31, 2018View

41743Mama's Family
@Dalek: Ha! That’s awesome that your name was derived from a TV show character. We actually named our daughter Elliotte because it seemed like a great female name on Scrubs
Vaporman87Dec 31, 2018View

41741Mama's FamilyA lot of people will say that their sick days home from school was watching Wheel Of Fortune. Mine in Jr High was patiently waiting for Little House On The Prairie to be over so that Mama's Family would be on. Sometimes Three's Company would be on instead. This was all on TBS mid mornings in the early to mid 90s. I might be messing up the time frame, as it COULD be that the good shows were on first and then when Little House hit I knew the good stuff was over for the morning bhwhahaha. I don't HATE Little House, in fact sometimes i'd find myself watching it consistently. It's just not my favorite. I was actually named after someone on the show. The youngest daughter Carrie had an episode where she was feeling alone because everyone was always too busy for her. She met an imaginary friend who I guess we're supposed to assume was her guardian angel, actually played by her twin. I was named Alyssa after the imaginary friend.Dalek227Dec 31, 2018View
41740LunchablesOn occasion i'd get the cracker ones as a kid but the meat always gagged me out a bit. My 14 year old has gone through phases with them. Grades 2-4 he loved the newer ones that had like a deep dish pizza crust. Now he won't touch them. He WILL do the nacho ones that have the kitkat and capri sun in them. He'd much prefer a six inch ham and cheese sub from Subway though. He's tried the chicken nugget ones and said they were gross. Dalek227Dec 31, 2018View
