264favorite old computer gamesHoly cow! You just reminded me of playing a game I had LOOOOONG forgotten about! I remember Stunts!!! That game was so extremely fun back in the day. I can't believe I forgot about that! I honestly did not have many computer games back in the 80's. However, I did get to experience an early version of the internet back then. My stepdad had made it possible to connect through our phone line to a friend of his who had several games stored on his computer. I would occasionally sign on, say hi, and download a game or two onto our PC. It's so weird to think how far the internet has come since then. I also attempted to code some text, choose your own path, adventures on our computer in GW Basic. I could get to maybe choice number 10 or so, and then it just got to be soooo complicated and time consuming to plot out each possible outcome, that I would give up about that time. 263Proposed Update Package for the siteWell I don't think it's a very good movie, but I wouldn't say I'm afraid of Speed, per se OP posts with sig look fine in Internet Explorer. But I put a sig on myself and posted in a thread (as the sixth reply or something) and, in IE, my sig was in the middle of the first reply. The next dev may need to do some thorough testing.shakin steakDec 21, 2012View

2591995I do keep a 95 computer around for playing DOS games and some other old software. Since I like horizontal ("pizza box") cases I can keep the old computer in stack with the new one, and a KVM switch makes it easy. [offtopic] Win7 is better than Vista but some things still disappoint. It takes so long to boot, even on i7 3GHz! Multiple display handling, hot swapping drives, and repair network connection don't work as well as they do in XP. I still prefer a tweaked XP or even 2000. I only jumped from XP to 7 so I could have 6+ GB of RAM. [/offtopic]shakin steakDec 20, 2012View
258Proposed Update Package for the siteNot only will all those features be added, but additionally you will have to compete in a "Tron" style race in order to simply "Log In". Hope you don't fear speed.Vaporman87Dec 20, 2012View
257If you could create your own cereal...Which makes me wonder, why is it that more cereal producers do not release "throwback" cereals for limited release? Rarely does that happen. Vaporman87Dec 20, 2012View
2561995@shakin I would give anything for Windows 95 to be compatible with today's software, because my Vista is teh suxxorz!!!Vaporman87Dec 20, 2012View
