I could read articles like that all day long. That was... awesome.

To add my two cents...

I know that feeling of everyone growing up, moving on, and losing touch. But I also know the feeling of NEVER losing touch. One friend, my best friend, and I still hang out. He's been my best friend (besides my wife of course) since the second grade. Now we're both being welcomed into the 40 year old club. And yet, we still hang out and play games at each other's places, reminisce, catch a movie together, shop together, hit the amusement park together... that is, when time and family life allows.

He is a huge link to my past. One that I hope remains until I'm gone.

Vaporman87Jan 12, 2014View

6140Funny things you (or others) did in schoolI had a pretty severe case of kleptomania in middle school. My friends and I would go on "Jacking Sprees" where we would sneak back into the classrooms during lunch and pretty much clean out desks and backpacks. We had plenty of close calls and one time me and my buddy and I got stuck in a classroom when the janitor came in. We were dead quiet and managed to get out. I think that pretty much ended that for us haha.

I wrote a whole article on me ditching class for RJ that brings back good times.
vkimoJan 11, 2014View
6139Funny things you (or others) did in schoolI remember one year in high school, when our boys varsity basketball team was facing our arch rival at home. Tensions were pretty high because both teams were pretty decent at the time, and neither wanted to go back to school the next week as the loser.

I was not there, so I am only relaying what I remember being told to me by students who were. Apparently some fierce fouling began to ruffle the feathers of some players, and then a scuffle began. As the coaches and officials rushed in to break it up, a new scuffle began... between the coaches. Then, chaos ensued. The bleachers emptied, and the court filled up with the crowd. Before it was all settled, our own Superintendent had been punched in the face.

That's all I remember about it. I'm sure there were some charges filed and such, but I don't recall the details beyond those I mentioned above.
Vaporman87Jan 11, 2014View

6136Velveeta shortage.I'll just use Cheese Wiz or real cheese.

There is a Sriracha shortage though, and it's real. There is a complaint about the odor from the chili processing, and it halted production.
pikachuloverJan 11, 2014View
