8508Lingos and catch phrases we used back in the day.Whoever named that episode "Hotties" is consumed by the 2000's.

I had a thread all about lingos in the my old User Forum "90's". But sadly, when my forum disappeared, so did the thread.
Mr MagicMay 28, 2014View
8507Lingos and catch phrases we used back in the day.I still use the word "cool" to describe things, items and people I admire. I don't feel comfortable using the word "chill", which many people seem to prefer nowadays. Sometimes, I find myself using the word "babe" to describe an attractive woman, whereas most people now use the gender-neutral term "hottie". I found myself wondering why the 2004 VH1 mini-series "Retrosexual: The 80s" titled the last episode of the show "Hotties". I was thinking, "Why not call it Babes and Hunks"? After all, those words were used frequently in the 80s. I don't believe "hottie" was used back then.
Caps 2.0May 28, 2014View
