8536McDonald'sAs much as I like Burger King. Mcdonalds has always been a part of my childhood. I'll admit that I have gotten happy meals from time to time. <br>ThatDudeintheHoodieMay 29, 2014View

8534Lingos and catch phrases we used back in the day.@kstrom22: That reminds me of a few things actually...<br><br>One, that my stepmom is certain she invented the term "Hump Day" for Wednesday.<br>Two, that I invented the term "McJordan Deluxe" before there actually was a "McJordan Deluxe" sandwich at McD's. I had it mentioned in one of my comic strips (not published,&nbsp; just personal strips made for friends to laugh at). <br>Three, that my friend and I used to write horror stories for us to swap and read, and one of his characters was named Leatherneck (a play on Leatherface). Later, a G.I. Joe character was released named Leatherneck.<br>Vaporman87May 29, 2014View
8533How was your day?Last night it got rainy, but it stopped long enough for me to set up a "treasure hunt" outside for the kids to do, complete with a "map" and such. So they spent the rest of the evening setting up their own "treasure hunts". :)<br>Vaporman87May 29, 2014View
8532McDonald'sIn Pulp Fiction, John Travolta mentioned in the famous "Royale With Cheese" story that you could buy a glass of beer at McDonald's in Paris. I don't know if that's true or not.<br>Mr MagicMay 29, 2014View
8531Lingos and catch phrases we used back in the day.I thought my brother had invented the term "sweet" for something cool. When I heard it on tv I'd say "my brother invented that"...<br><br>kstrom22May 29, 2014View
8530McDonald'sBe careful... that's how Teen Angel died<div><br></div><div><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WEpCCR7KtF0">McDeath</a></div>echidna64May 29, 2014View
8529McDonald'sI love how people make a name for themselves by slamming McDonald's for their food, ingredients, etc. as though they are somehow deceiving us. Like we as a society are victims of some crime foisted on us by McDonald's.&nbsp;<div><br></div><div>If you don't know by now the way things are done at McDonald's, you're a hopeless individual. <a href="http://www.bionicburger.com/">Like this guy</a>.</div><div><br></div><iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/mYyDXH1amic" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe><div><br></div><div>As you can see, the man takes the opportunity to totally destroy McDonald's, essentially blaming the obesity epidemic on them and their ilk. Seriously, whatever happened to personal responsibility? Why in every facet of life do we feel so compelled to point the finger at EVERYONE but the person who pulled the trigger, or fed their child the food, or whatever the issue may be? I turn to (as I often do on matters of life in general) to Jim Gaffigan for insight into this:</div><div><br></div><iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/6YDTfEhChgw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe>Vaporman87May 29, 2014View
8528Lingos and catch phrases we used back in the day.Where I live people still use some form of "bomb". Bomb, da bomb, the bomb, bomb.com, etc.&nbsp;<div><br></div><div>Seriously it appears in so many yelp reviews from my area. &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>They still use "bad" a lot too.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>I still use "grip" occasionally. It means a lot. That is pretty outdated, but people my age still use it.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>When I get flustered IRL I speak Valley. I use "like" way too much.&nbsp;</div>pikachuloverMay 29, 2014View
