| 8945 | Summer 2014 | King's Dominion was a unique place to me. I liked the Wayne's World coaster (not sure what they call it now that Paramount doesn't own the park) and the Volcano coaster was REALLY unique. So cool how it would shoot you up out of the top of the volcano.<br><br>I also remember it being the ONLY theme park I had ever been in that had METAL DETECTORS at the front gate.
