12633No one has to subscribe to HBO anymore.Well, you bet me to it!<div><br></div><div>Yes, HBO will be offering broadband access direct to viewers. The funny thing is HBO passed on this idea just a couple of years ago. The difference is ratings, HBO's dominance of cable gives it the muscle try going direct.</div><div><br></div><div>Cable's old standard of selling 500 channels, knowing you will only watch 10 of 'em, for one monthly fee just will not continue for much longer. If we all had the option of only paying for the shows we actually watch, I know what I would do.</div><div><br></div><div>Let's see how far and how fast HBO moves on this.</div>eddstarrOct 16, 2014View

12631Guess The TV CharacterI watched Tiny Toons religiously. <br>Most of the chatter is about Animaniacs. 90s kids love it and you know they talk about their childhood more than anybody since your grandpa walking uphill both ways. I watched it for a year or two but it was a little late for me.<br>shakin steakOct 16, 2014View

12629FallIn my hometown there are 2 main highschools and they parade down the street. But yeah I don't connect with that Friday Night Lights vibe at all.<br>vkimoOct 16, 2014View

12626FallHere in small town America, the Homecoming/Alumni crap gets on my nerves. Signs everywhere, cars parked on street (and in the way)... etc. I guess I just don't understand the fascination with it. I've mentioned it before, but I think something has been lost over the decades from the 50's 60's to now. Maybe those who attended school in the 50's and 60's feel some kind of connection with their fellow students (aside from friends), but you don't see that in our generation. <br>Vaporman87Oct 16, 2014View
12625FallI was wondering if anybody here lived in a town where Homecoming was a big deal? Like I've heard where cities have the homecoming parade down Main Street. They never had anything like that at my high school. Although people really got into the Spirit Week themes of dressing up and took it over the top. <br>pikachuloverOct 16, 2014View
