13002More cover scansI just thought about LaserDisc and was going to add that. Also, there were, at one time, formats called Betamax (like VHS tapes but bigger) and Capacitance Electronic Disc (CED) (like LaserDisc but worked more like a vinyl record but were movie discs).
LepricahnsGoldOct 25, 2014View
13001More cover scansI hadn't thought of 8-track and cassette tape covers. That would be cool. Maybe even laser disc covers. Something to consider for a future update.
Vaporman87Oct 25, 2014View

12998The GoldbergsI just want to mention that the prints of the personalized photo things were way too good for being 1980s quality. I remember my aunt and neighbor had those and the photos were always distorted and pixelated. pikachuloverOct 25, 2014View

12995Halloween Nostalgia & More! We'll be doing our Trick-or-Treating here on Thursday night (30th) with a chili supper at the church afterward. It will be fun, as my friend and my brother and his wife and two kids are all going with us this year. Vaporman87Oct 24, 2014View

12993Virtual Console ThursdaysThe Super Smash Bros direct that was just shown announced that the masterpieces are returning from Brawl. Those who don't know what they are, they're 5 minute trail runs of cut down versions of Virtual Console titles that you play through the game. If you like the game enough, you can purchase the full version off the Nintendo eShop. The library shown seems to be bigger than in Brawl. Some of the games are the same as in Brawl, and it even includes the Earthbound demo that was used in the Japanese version of Brawl that was omitted from North American version. But now, it's time for this week's releases for the week of 10/23/2014:

Wii U Virtual Console:

Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow (GBA)
$7.99

The fourth and final Castlevania game that's being included in the Wii U Virtual Console lineup is here. But of course, the Halloween Virtual Console releases does not end there, because with Halloween approaching, Nintendo also has a few other Halloween themed games for the day before Halloween.
blueluigiOct 24, 2014View
