14032Peanuts return to the big screen!I'm a huge Peanuts fan, so I'm definitely excited about this. I'm even more excited now that I've seen how great the animation looks. Besides the stupid auto-tune song in the second trailer, everything about this movie looks perfect.DerkNov 20, 2014View
14031Peanuts return to the big screen!
thecrow174 wrote :
Now they're saying the movie is coming in Christmas of next year! <img src="http://retro-daze.org/images/smilies/MavSkeptical.gif" title="">

Do you have doubts?

-end quote
No. Obviously they ran over schedule. To me this bodes well for the quality--they are not going to rush it.

One thing I'll say is for making 3D animation, I'm glad they kept the characters faithful to the look of the original comics (and cartoons). Instead of trying to give them "realistic" textured eyes, hair, skin as was done in The Movies Garfield, Smurfs, Peabody & Sherman and so on. I could do without the shading mostly, but it could be much much worse.

shakin steakNov 20, 2014View

14028Peanuts return to the big screen! One thing I don't doubt, is that we'll be going to the theater to watch it. C'mon... it's Peanuts in the theater! You'd have to be soulless to not want to experience that. :)
Vaporman87Nov 20, 2014View
