19993 | Things you don't like about this era. | I dunno, a former member of RJ tried to get people to "hack" me. She tried to use her connections with a big named facebook page to get Anonymous to hack my account and put all my info online. We used to talk almost 24/7 on Skype, but then she started lying more than usual and became increasingly paranoid. She had asked me to have Saruman delete her post history from RJ, which he did.

| Ajimbo | Apr 16, 2015 | |

19989 | Theme & Amusement Parks | Well, if it doesn't look like rain this Saturday, me and my buddy Phil will be hitting up King's Island for opening day of the season. It'll likely be crowded... but that's what Fast Lane Passes are for. Mwahahahahaha!!! Fools wait in lines!!!

Banshee... here I come.
| Vaporman87 | Apr 16, 2015 | |
19988 | Things you don't like about this era. | Yeah. It's getting worse as time goes on. So many companies getting hacked lately... Sony, Target, Anthem, etc. I've had to have my debit card reissued 3 different times now. It's crazy.
| Vaporman87 | Apr 16, 2015 | |
19987 | Fix Users Online Section |
Linux_Sage wrote :
Most people who implement these sort of things track all active sessions within the database. They would either source it from the $_SESSIONS array every time a user logs in and remove each entry as they expire or you could go all out and create an entire session interface class and handle everything within the DB itself.

Once it's all in the DB querying who's online would be trivial.
-end quote
I forgot we had a developer in our midst. Well, another one that is. :)

That would be essentially the same as what it is now, right? Except that as it is now, there is no expiration. The status is only changed when the user manually logs off. I've gone into the DB and manually logged everyone off before. Just to see who would eventually log in again (some have not even done so since I last did that).

What would be involved in tracking the activity of a logged in user in order to tag them as "online"? On RJ, it even shows which thread the user is looking at. How would that work?
| Vaporman87 | Apr 16, 2015 | |

I wanted to marry her because she was the only girl who liked Nintendo, or at least as far as I knew.
