21794Toys you always wantedWow. I just submitted an article detailing several toys I wanted as a kid but never had...and then I come across this forum post. Cool.

For me, there were a lot of things I wanted but didn't have...the USS Flagg aircraft carrier for one, and several others that I talk about in my article that should drop in the next couple of days.
mickyarberJul 04, 2015View

21788How was your day?no firework watching for me this year, i'll actually be doing some more job hunting. my mom referred a children's hospital of the king's daughters thrift store that has a super nice manager, as far as saving my money goes towards a new laptop i'll have to save up way slower than i thought if i get the job. here's hoping that i at least get it before the year's over...
BenjanimeJul 04, 2015View
21787Contemporary movies that make you feel nostalgicNone I can think of to remind me of my own youth, but The Artist and Hugo were both very evocative of days gone by in beautiful ways.shakin steakJul 04, 2015View
21786How was your day?But there will be SOME fireworks, right? Too many things to do today. First we're headed to a street fair. This one is put on by a local coffee company. There will be some free food and drinks but what cinched it was a friend's new band is one of the acts playing and we haven't seen them yet. Then we are invited to two barbecues. Hard to do both unless we just come to say hi and bye, and I hate that. So we might hit up one, but our main deal for the night will be going up on our own roof to watch fireworks go up in all directions.shakin steakJul 04, 2015View

That's what I miss most about small towns, you never feel alone and you don't need a world class fireworks show or thousands of people around you to have a good time.
-end quote
So true, V.

It does get a bit crowded though. Not thousands of people crowded, but crowded for such a small place. And I have a feeling it's also going to be a giant, muddy, mess.
Vaporman87Jul 04, 2015View
