From 1964 to 1967 my friend Jerry tutored me in all things superhero. As a result I know the DC universe a lot better than the Marvel version. <div><br></div><div>Sorry to say that by the time Marvel's version was released I had already left comic books behind and had moved on to other things. However I enjoyed correcting kids that the characters name was "Captain Marvel", not "Shazam". | 28335 | How was your day? | No doubt it draws heavily from A New Hope. In one sense, that is a little disappointing. But in another, it's the right choice to get that bitter taste from the last 3 out of the fans' mouths.<br><br>At least the characters even acknowledge the similarity of their situation, comparing the Death Star to Starkiller Base and making strategic suggestions based on their experiences in the original trilogy. <br><br>I was most pleased with the new characters.
