Yes, much like the classic series for the NES, Capcom seems it was appropriate to end the series with the magic number of 6. Of course, there's also the Mega Man Starforce series for the DS that's essentially a successor to Battle Network. </div><div><br></div><div>Though one thing that I find interesting about Battle Network 6 is that the Japanese version of the game had a bit of a crossover with the Japanese-only game, Shin Bokura no Taiyou: Gyakushuu no Sabata.... otherwise known as Bokura 3. But because the first to Bokura games got low sales outside Japan, then the third game was never released overseas.
