30222 | Last Movie You Watched | No they were just friends and they both never met anyone like eachother. So that's why they were both excited for the birthday party. There was no borderline anything. I really liked the movie. It's classic pee-wee herman. | Jrs1991 | Mar 20, 2016

30220 | Last Movie You Watched | Pee Wee's Big Holiday<br><br>(3/10)<br><br>Let me start off with saying that Pee Wee's Big Adventure is one of my favorites movies and I really enjoyed Pee Wee's Playhouse but this movie is terrible. <br><br>Most of the jokes fall flat and the movie tries too hard to be a stoner-movie and just comes off cheap and forced. For instance, the movie starts off with Pee Wee talking to an E.T. like alien, for no reason at all.<br><br>Also, I can't tell if this was deliberate or not but the setup of the movie with Pee Wee's adoration of Joe Manganello is borderline "gay fantasy." There is even a scene with them jousting unicorn horns. <br><br>I did like seeing some cameos like Simone from the first Pee Wee, and the farmer's daughter scene is classic Pee Wee funny, but 90% of the movie is just plain bad. <br><br><br> | echidna64 | Mar 20, 2016
30219 | Which Gilligan's Island Castaway Are You? | I got the Skipper.<div><br></div><div>Ironically, I remember for Halloween one year my parents and my friends parents wanted us all to go as the characters from Gilligan's Island, and they wanted me to be the Skipper.</div><div><br></div><div><img width="300" height="300" src="/images/postImages/1458489195frnjwekj.PNG"></div> | Rick Ace Rhodes | Mar 20, 2016

30216 | Forgotten Cartoons | I'm not at all familiar with McGee and Me. Thanks for the enlightenment Edd. I do know of some other Focus on the Family creations, like Adventures in Odyssey. Mostly the radio theater version, as opposed to the cartoon.<br> | Vaporman87 | Mar 20, 2016
30215 | Forgotten Cartoons | This was another accident, just like all the other accidents I've had for most of my life throughout the 20th century.<div style="font-weight: normal;"><br></div><div style="font-weight: normal;">One Saturday morning in 1998 I woke up around 3:30 am. The TV was on because I'd fallen asleep watching the Friday midnight monster movie. All my life I'd done exactly what I did that early morning, I channel surfed to see what else was on television.</div><div style="font-weight: normal;"><br></div><div>And that's when I stumbled on the strangest collection of cartoons I'd never seen before. One of them was about a little cartoon guy called McGee and his friend Nick, the boy who drew him. This was the first time I'd ever seen the live action/animated series, "<span style="font-weight: bold;">McGee and Me</span>", the Christian Children's program produced by Focus on the Family and broadcast on both CBN (Christian Broadcasting Network) and TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network).</div><div><br></div><img src="http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51zAcxKecQL.jpg"><div><br><div>The internet came along just in time to save this cool cartoon series from obscurity.</div><div><br></div><div>If you are a fan of the 80's, I can't think of a better time capsule than <span style="font-weight: bold;">McGee and Me</span> - this series captures the spirit of the times beautifully. I still find this cartoon fully watchable even though it was released in 1989. It delivers it's message without being heavy handed. </div><div><br></div><div>There are only nine original episodes and the best one, in my opinion, is "Do The Bright Thing", funny and well thought-out, "Do The Bright Thing" gives McGee extra screen time over and above the other episodes.</div><div><br></div> <iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/wXYaOzWudDo" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div> | eddstarr | Mar 20, 2016
30214 | Famous Duos | <span style="font-weight: normal; font-style: italic;">Ahh</span><span style="font-style: normal;"> <span style="font-weight: bold;">Crow</span> - if this was poker I'd be hittin' on MoneyTree for a payday loan already!</span><div><span style="font-style: normal;"><br></span></div><div><span style="font-style: normal;">Looks like I'm opening the lid on the ol' time machine again.</span></div><div><span style="font-style: normal;"><br></span></div><img src="https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/ff/25/e8/ff25e8cb579eccb87dced0b44bf5e98b.jpg"><div><span style="font-style: normal;"><br></span></div><div><span style="font-style: normal;">Hey dude, looks who's here - my old friends <span style="font-weight: bold;">Todd & Buzz</span>. You remember these guys: "<span style="font-weight: bold;">Route 66</span>".</span></div><div><span style="font-style: normal;">A television show about two young men traveling across 1960's America in a Corvette. You'll never see anything like this ever again on TV, oh how times have changed.</span></div><div><span style="font-style: normal;"><br></span></div><div><span style="font-style: normal;">The Interstate Highway System was just gettin' going when this series aired. It was a record of the changing face of America. The landscape pre-1960 was fast disappearing. The America these two guys are talking about was already a thing of the past.</span></div><div><span style="font-style: normal;"><br></span></div> <iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/TRpZd5_AT2s" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe> | eddstarr | Mar 20, 2016 |
