31013The CaféWoohoo. We must be moving up in the world of the internet, as we got our first official DMCA Takedown Notice.<br><br>For a single picture of Kathy Ireland that was used in an article. Seriously? Who is it that spends their days scouring the back alleys of the internet looking for things to send DMCA notices over? Those people need to get out more.<br>Vaporman87Apr 14, 2016View

31009Weird cartoonsDo a search for, "The Curious Adventure of Mr. Wonderbird". That's the English title for a French cartoon from the 1950's. Very strange cartoon, I saw it when I was 7 years old and I never forgot the creepy robot from the second half of the film.<div><br></div><div><img src="http://cartoonresearch.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/mr.wonderbird250.jpg"></div><div><br></div><div><img src="http://billrandall.net/wp/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/leroietloiseau3.png"></div>eddstarrApr 14, 2016View
31008Forgotten Cartoons"Where's Huddles" still has me scratching my head all these years later. The only reason I can come up with was "The Flintstones".<div><br></div><div>Hanna-Barbera spent the rest of the 1960's looking for that Flintstones' magic. Many a brainstorming session must have taken place as idea after idea was thrown at the wall, to see what would stick. No one had a good answer for why Fred and Barney were so successful while everything else faded away.</div><div><br></div><div>Timing was part of the answer. Maybe the whole Flintstones project was a lucky strike, right idea at the right time.</div><div><br></div><div>Seems to me that every H-B project after the Flintstones was an attempt to make the next hit TV show. From "The Jetsons" to "Jonny Quest", H-B never gave up and I'm glad for it.</div><div><br></div><div>As for SatAM any idea was a go, as long as it didn't cost a lot of money.</div><div><br></div> <iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/lKvFe8c5btE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe>eddstarrApr 14, 2016View
