She was friends with Mike Douglas and would appear on his talk show at anytime. Merv Griffin and Johnny Carson were big fans too. <div><br></div><div>She was so popular that Andy Williams threw his support behind, "The Nancy Wilson Show" - I think that was 1967. Rare for a black American to have their own show back in the day but you can see why. LOL.<br><br>Having said that, San Francisco definitely needs to work on bringing in more restrooms in the town. I was actually in the downtown area one time, and needed to pee really bad. I went to just about all the stores and restaurants I can think of, and none of them had restrooms available to the public. The only ones that did required you to order a meal in order to go, and all of the port-a-potties were closed. This actually made me legitimately tempted to urinate on public property, because there was literally no where else to go. Thankfully, I didn't. I went to catch a bus, and rushed to the next available restroom.<br><br>But yeah, it really pisses me off that a lot of times, there's virtually no restrooms when you go to San Francisco. That a lot of places ends up not having restrooms within miles. The only thing you'd have are the port-a-potties... and those are closed off half the time.
