32669Importing Articles From RetroJunkSounds like a very good idea. I was on RetroJunk two days ago and saw almost no activity. If the sites goes I wonder if all the content will be saved in archive or only a portion?eddstarrDec 31, 2016View
32668Importing Articles From RetroJunkI did this when I first arrived with my <a href="http://www.retro-daze.org/site/article/id/504">Vor-Tech</a> article. I was planning on doing it with all three of my articles on RJ but never got around to doing them.<div><br></div><div>I think it's a good idea. There were a lot of good articles on RJ from members of this site. I'll do the other two I never got around to.&nbsp;</div>Rick Ace RhodesDec 31, 2016View

32665Debbie Reynolds (Carrie Fisher's mother.) has a stroke.I can't help but remember a quote from MST3K, the episode "Space Mutiny", where 3 of the main characters are together in a scene and Crow declares they are "Sting, Debbie Reynolds, and God". Funny what things trigger memories of people. This quote will always remind me of her and her loss. <br><br>The scene is at 0:23<br><br><iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/ShGJ_fXp5yI" allowfullscreen="" width="560" height="315" frameborder="0"></iframe>Vaporman87Dec 31, 2016View
32664Most Beautiful Television Stars of the '80sSpeaking of Married...With Children, here's Milla Jovovich in a 1989 episode. Loooonnnggggg before her Resident Evil film debut.<div><br></div><div>She played a French foreign exchange student. Weird, considering Milla's Ukrainian.<br><div><br></div><div><img src="https://s28.postimg.org/8ejv0ilbx/milla_j_mwc_GC.jpg"></div></div>Mr MagicDec 30, 2016View

32661The brilliance of Mr. John Hughes.One I'd like to see is <a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0101635/">Curly Sue</a>. I had no idea John directed and wrote this.<div><table border="0" cellpadding="5" cellspacing="0" width="480" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;"><tbody><tr><td width="380"><br><br></td></tr></tbody></table></div>Mr MagicDec 30, 2016View
32660Last Movie You WatchedStar Wars: Rogue One<div><br></div><div>I did NOT like it, ahh, I can feel the flurry of boos and thrown popcorn.</div><div><br></div><div>The problem with Rogue One was the characters. After 2+ hours, I couldn't name half of the crew. Some of the them like Juan Solo were down right irritating.&nbsp;</div><div><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><br></span></div><div><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Lots of lines of dialogue were botched. My favorite character was Donnie Yen's monk but he was clearly working with a language coach for each scene and lots of his lines came out confused or misplaced.&nbsp;</span></div><div><br></div><div>Another big issue was the story. If you watch the original movies, the Empire Strikes Back you don't see a caption that says "Hoth: Location of secret rebel base" because you know what is going on. In ten minutes, Rogue One has like six cuts to six different planets.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>SPOILERS Hey-o!</div><div><br></div><div>1. They go to Jedha to get a transmission from Saw who promptly dies</div><div><br></div><div>2. They go to generic Imperial mine to meet Jyn's dad who promptly dies</div><div><br></div><div>3. They go to paradise planet where everyone promptly dies</div><div><br></div><div>What was the point of step 2? Why is Juan Solo upset that Jyn's dad is dead when it was his mission to kill him?</div><div><br></div><div>I like the idea of individual stories set in the Star Wars universe but I did not like this one.&nbsp;</div>echidna64Dec 30, 2016View
