34800The CaféThere's a neat new kid's show on Netflix called Buddy Thunderstruck.<div>Two things I really like about it: it's stop-motion animated, and there's quite a bit of hidden jokes for adults (like any good kid's show should have). Check it out!</div><div><div><br><div><br></div><br></div></div>jkatzApr 07, 2017View

34796Don Rickles Has Passed Away at Age 90By the early 1960's Don Rickles had one of the edgiest standup routines in comedy. His hook was a well constructed insult. Don would have an opinion about everybody and he even tailored his remarks to appear on television, on a regular basis too.<div><br></div><div>Never forget that for Don Rickles' generation of comedians, the holy grail was a television show of your own.</div><div><br></div><div>Fortunately, Don Rickles had many friends in the world of entertainment. From Frank Sinatra to Johnny Carson. With Don's kind of friends he always found a stage to voice his latest insults. His guest appearances on late night TV were legendary. And, of course, Don was a regular substitute host for Johnny Carson on the Tonight Show.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><img src="https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236x/80/b8/50/80b850ba2888204523f70d6757cdd728.jpg"><div><br><div>All the effort finally paid off when Don Rickles got his own TV series in 1976:</div><div><br></div><div>"CPO Sharkey", on NBC.</div></div><div><br></div> <div style="position:relative;height:0;padding-bottom:75.0%"><iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/bTMZehqnG5Q?ecver=2" width="480" height="360" frameborder="0" style="position:absolute;width:100%;height:100%;left:0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><div><br></div> To be a close friend of Johnny Carson was a very special relationship. With both "The Tonight Show" and "CPO Sharkey" both produced from NBC's New York headquarters, Johnny surprised Don one night during the taping of his show because Johnny wanted to who broke his favorite cigarette box:<div><br>&nbsp; <div style="position:relative;height:0;padding-bottom:75.0%"><iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Mj2S2n64DeQ?ecver=2" width="480" height="360" frameborder="0" style="position:absolute;width:100%;height:100%;left:0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div></div><div><br></div> The clip showing how Don Rickles broke the box is also on YouTube:<div><br>&nbsp; <div style="position:relative;height:0;padding-bottom:75.0%"><iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/QDPQl_D6Usw?ecver=2" width="480" height="360" frameborder="0" style="position:absolute;width:100%;height:100%;left:0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div></div>eddstarrApr 07, 2017View

34792Don Rickles Has Passed Away at Age 90<p>I remember his comedy routines to a certain extent. But as time went on he just became synonymous with Toy Story. He'll be missed</p>Vaporman87Apr 07, 2017View
