34827Don Rickles Has Passed Away at Age 90Don Rickles is from that era in entertainment where if you had talent, you could do any project to launch your career. Standup comedy was always a crowd pleaser but the real "star maker" was movies, not television.<div style="font-weight: normal;"><br></div><div>In the early 60's Don made an excellent impression and became known, outside the comedy club scene, when he landed a role in the Roger Corman cult classic movie, "<b>X: The Man with X-Ray Vision</b>", with popular actor Ray Milland in the starring role as a scientist that tries his experimental eye drops on himself - with horrifying results.</div><div>&nbsp;</div> <img src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-VFXlszHCNKc/Ug7iRgR5MNI/AAAAAAAABbQ/BBYNNpFbUB4/s320/X-Ray_Eyes_At_casino.jpg">&nbsp; <div><br></div><div>My apologies, I was not able to find a shorter clip featuring Don Rickles. I wanted you guys to see Don in this surprisingly interesting sci-fi/horror film because this movie doesn't get the attention it deserves - in my humble opinion.</div><div><br>&nbsp; <div style="position:relative;height:0;padding-bottom:56.25%"><iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/QLEnJglm8s0?ecver=2" width="640" height="360" frameborder="0" style="position:absolute;width:100%;height:100%;left:0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div> </div>eddstarrApr 08, 2017View

34823Wrestlemania 33<div><font face="Arial, Verdana"><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">Last year, after Wrestlemania I wrote, “I guess I have better things to do with my time” after ranting about how terrible the show was. Still, I stupidly watched a good portion of this weekend’s events.</span></font></div><div><font face="Arial, Verdana"><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"><br></span></font></div><div><font face="Arial, Verdana"><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">Seeing DDP and The Rock N Roll Express go into the Hall of Fame was great. Part of the NXT Takeover was good, but Wrestlemania… why oh why did I waste my time.</span></font></div><div><font face="Arial, Verdana"><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"><br></span></font></div><div><font face="Arial, Verdana"><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">The setting and stage were amazing and the Hardy Boyz return was great, but once you got past that it was a disappointment as usual. I’ve come to realize that wrestling has just changed too much for me. I should rephrase that, the WWE has changed too much. I love watching Lucha Underground and Ring of Honor, and I love checking out local indies but the whole “sports entertainment” that is WWE is not what I enjoy anymore. I’m pretty sure I won’t be wasting anymore time watching anything WWE.&nbsp;</span></font></div><div><font face="Arial, Verdana"><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;"><br></span></font></div><div><font face="Arial, Verdana"><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">Side Note: The following night on Raw, the fans gave Roman Reigns hell and throughout the show the announcers referred to them as “alternate fans.” Those alternate fans were the same fans at Wrestlemania, the people who spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars to attend the week’s festivities, yet the WWE demeans them on national TV because they don’t agree with the way the company is going. That’s so infuriating.&nbsp;</span></font></div>massrealityApr 08, 2017View
34822Don Rickles Has Passed Away at Age 90<font face="Arial, Verdana"><span style="font-size: 13.3333px;">There is a fantastic Don Rickles documentary called Mr. Warmth: The Don Rickles Project from 2007 I highly recommend. It was a great look at his career and the standup that he was still performing. I didn't realize what an honor it was to be roasted by him, because many of his amazing ability until I saw that documentary.</span></font>massrealityApr 08, 2017View
