He can play any kind of comedy film. A dark one such as Me, Myself and Irene or a not so dark one like The Mask. He does drama too, like The Truman Show.

In Living Color was an awesome show but Jim Carrey's over the top antics made the show the funniest series of the 90's. Jim has many popular characters on In Living Color but I like his one-off parody skits like when he did this take of Star Trek:

Ehh... I think he's gone down over the years. I mean, he still managed to produce some funny hits in the 2000's, but it seems like since then he's lost his touch.

He's definitely not bankable like he once was, that much is certain. But he had a good run of it. Isn't there still supposed to be another Ace Ventura movie coming?

In my opinion, Carrey's 90s dramas (like "The Truman Show" and "Man On The Moon") have aged better for me than the comedies. Of course, my favorite Jim Carrey movie was an early one that had him in a supporting role. I'm talking about "Earth Girls Are Easy", where he played Wiploc, one of the aliens who landed in Valerie Gale's (Geena Davis) pool. I thought, and still think, that movie was a lot of fun.
