RetroDaze Halloween Article Contest Rules & Information
(Ends October 15th, 2015)
Article Submissions:
- Articles should be at least around 600 - 700 words in length.
- Articles should be all-new, original works, not previously published elsewhere.
- There is no limit to the number of submissions that can be entered.
- Articles must be centered on "spooky, scary, or Halloween related" subject matter. Reviews, writings on the promotion of, manufacture of, distribution and sale of, related merchandise IS permissible.
Submissions will be judged, and one Grand Prize winner chosen.
(Two Reserve Prize winners may also be chosen)
Submissions will again be judged this year by Lesley Bannatyne:
Published author of books and articles, and Halloween historian who has contributed to The History Channel, Time Magazine, Slate, National Geographic, and more.
Grand Prize:
This year's Grand Prize will consist of a selection of vintage,
Halloween inspired memorabilia with an aftermarket value
of nearly $600 USD.
The items in the prize will remain a mystery
until the winner is selected.
