I just submitted mine, but when it loaded the page after it said I wasn't logged in? So I'm not sure if it went through correctly or not...

No worries Angel, it came through perfectly.

Phew. Finding out a winner may or may not take a little longer than anticipated, as we will have almost 25 entries when it's all said and done. That's... a lot.  This has been a very popular year for the Halloween contest.

Great! I'm glad so many people participated! 

Reading everyone's entries has certainly put me in the Halloween spirit. 

Ah, that's awesome there have been so many entries!  Yeah, this is gonna be a stiff competition, which makes it even more fun.  I've gotten to many, but still have a bunch to read yet.

Wow, that's a lot! I think Lesley will read them all with pleasure though. I finished all of the writing on mine and will finish the formatting tomorrow.

Yeah, sorry it's so long. I didn't realize how much material I truly had until I finished the opening to it.

There's really no such thing as TOO long. Not when it comes to telling a story or recalling a memory (unless it's all mostly fluff and unimportant to the overall work). At least you know for certain you met the 600 to 700 word requirement... by about 7 times!
