I like the surprise aspect of it myself.

I realize it would make sense for people who don't want to waste their points on something they don't want, but personally I like keeping it a mystery. Of course maybe there could be a separate forum topic for reveals.

Agreed. This seems like a good solution that would work for everyone.

I got my Robot Goodie Pack ordered today.  I'm avoiding the Reveal thread because I like being surprised as I pull each piece out of the box.  The kids gather around the kitchen table and we open the goodie packs together.

The first one I got was a Christmas pack, and it took a good half hour to get everything out, because as I pulled out each piece, I explained to the girls what it was and my memories attached to it.  They really like that...the history lesson involved with the Goodie packs, lol.

My oldest is already giddy about a robot pack coming.  She is really into robots and robotic or mechanized toys and projects.  She loves science kits and such, so her expectations for what may be in this box are already through the roof.

There should be something in there for everyone in the family to enjoy.

Family? What family? I'm not sharing anything with those bloodsuckers....I kid. I'll play nice...maybe. Totally depends on what's inside.

Oh man, a robot goodie pack!  Now for the hard decision of saving up for the board game or blowing it on robotic awesomeness.  Then again, I AM due to write some new articles.  :-p

Awesome!  I just spent some points and placed my order for a copy.

And what a coincidence too....I was going to order it from Amazon but was just cruising the forums for a bit first and came across this update about it being available in the points store.

Thanks for an awesome addition to the store.  Next up, I've got my eye on that Ecto-1 model kit.
