It's pretty much crunch time for me as not only the convention next weekend. But the 4th of July weekend this weekend with now even more stuff. Then all the other things in July and August with my Birthday and other things. I was right when I said it was gonna be a busy summer.

Yesterday I visited a pool that I had not been to in probably almost 30 years. I hate pools, let me add. I really don't like them. Period. But it was a bit of nostalgia to sit on the edge of a pool that I learned to swim in decades ago, now with my kids (who are also learning to swim).

I never liked swimming (The chemicals give me headaches)

my stepdad went ahead and gave me an old 80 gb ipod classic that he doesn't use anymore. cleaned out what was already in the ipod and downloaded a few episodes of MST3K

A few months ago I donated to an indiegogo fundraiser for a band I like and today my waiting pays off with a digital copy of their new album along with the rest of their discography and a signed hard copy when I get it in the mail. So far I'm really loving this new album.

Just a really slow day at work right now. Running scripts and mostly waiting.
