More of what the remake has to offer.

Not really my thing, but the movie looks good.

That's Robb Stark from Game of Thrones as Prince Pansy.

The cinematic quality looks good and it's cool they're using the Fight Club lady/Tim Burton's mistress as the Fairy Godmother but this movie falls in a weird place. Like it's trying to be more adult oriented while still capturing that childhood magic. It's going to be boring and the fencing scene thrown in for the guys is likely to be the only action for the men.

I don't think they're going to use the mice from the original in this one.

The glass slipper is peculiar to [Charles] Perrault's telling of the story, which is one of the world's best-known and most widely distributed folktales. In most versions, Cinderella is helped by her dead mother, who reappears as a domestic animal, typically a cow or goat, rather than her fairy godmother; often, she makes three visits to a ball, festival, or church; and her true identity is revealed by a ring that will not fit anyone's finger but hers. The story probably is of Oriental origin. In the oldest known version, from China in the ninth century, the heroine loses a slipper, as it happens, but it is of gold. The glass slipper, then, along with the use of the witching hour of midnight as the moment at which the heroine's finery will disappear, seems to be one of Perrault's own contributions to the Cinderella story.

I got a glimpse of the mice in the trailer, but they seem so plain.

I saw mice in the trailer! Unless you're referring particularly to Gus Gus.

Watching the second trailer makes me feel like there's no reason to see the movie. They tell the whole story and show all the characters right there.

Cindarella illustration by Charles Robinson, 1900. From "Tales of Passed Times" with stories by Charles Perrault.

Reminds me somewhat of Alphonse Mucha. I guess the style was common at the time.
