The owners of The Goonies house in Astoria are pretty fed up with the 30th Anniversary stuff.

According to Adam F. Goldberg (creator of The Goldbergs TV show), this is a legit thing that is really happening. He has a friend who is doing the writing for it. Sooooo cool!

so, but it's going to be wonderful."

Somehow, I had never watched The Goonies during my childhood. I suppose it's due to the fact that my birth year came just a few years after it's release. Knowing that it is an '80s classic, I made it my goal to finally watch it a few nights ago, and I enjoyed it a lot. I think it still holds up today as an amazing adventure film.

 That's awesome that you go to finally see the film. Here's to hoping a sequel actually does come about, and that it is done right.

I loved Cyndi Lauper's music for the movie, too.
