On that note what's with the 90s action movie revival? It doesn't even seem like there is a market for it.

Perhaps the success of The Expendables has caused studios to give "second looks" at reviving dead franchises, or keeping almost dead ones going.

This started nearly a decade ago. The late 2000's saw a trend of unwanted sequels from older move franchises. You would of thought this would of died out by now, but I guess not.
