Given how many '80s cartoons have seen new live-action adaptations lately, I'm kind of surprised it has taken them this long to do one. Since superheroes are so popular at the box office these days, I could see a well done MOTU movie making a lot of money. Then again, I said the same thing when I heard about the new Power Rangers movie, and that one underperformed. Quote Disable Sigs

It seems like a bad sign that they have announced when shooting will begin, but not what actors are on board... if any yet. I'm curious if they'll go for established stars or cast unknowns. I think Chris Hemsworth would make a good He-Man, but I'm not sure he would do it since it would be somewhat similar to what he's already done as Thor. Quote Disable Sigs
