Still sounds good to me.  As long as the cold doesn't cause plumbing problems (yes, I have experience with this)

By the way, it's not 2013 any more.

My thoughts too. I don't mind the cold as long as it doesn't adversely affect my life... like causing me to spend money to fix my plumbing!

the only downside when moving to north dakota for me was that my body had to get used to the weather and temperatures. i was so used to the warm weather of virginia before leaving in 2008, but i've handled the cold well since then

Mr Magic
Who's going to watch the Winter Olympics?

I don't get to catch the Winter Olympics, aside from what I read about the event results. I wouldn't mind being able to see the hockey matches.

The snowboarding and bobsledding are exciting events.

Yeah. I've seen a few promotions that use the snowboarding and skiing events in the advertising.

Unfortunately, Lindsey Vonn, who was a star in the last Winter Olympics, will have to sit this one out.

Well, if you read/heard/watched the news any over past few days, you know about the "propane shortage".

Being the owner of a propane business, this has caused me more than a little aggravation. It's cold, people are cold, they need gas, and I don't have it to give. It sucks. The winter of 2013/2014 will be remembered by me as the winter of lost opportunity.

Something needs to happen to prevent so much supply being sent overseas. It should be the responsibility of all of us to make sure our own citizens have what they need FIRST, then ship what's left overseas for higher profits. No, this isn't the only factor in this shortage, but it is one that we can actually do something about.
