I always love the Parade........... The Musicals not so much.

I hope they don't have too many trendy pop stars performing this year.

The rock band Goo Goo Dolls performed last year, so maybe they'll be back.

I like the Goo Goo Dolls. But it's expected to be a pop music showcase. I don't mind some of them (Please let them get the Kongos and Frank Turner and Bastille since they are actually good)

I'm not into the musicals either. I usually skip that hour of the parade. When they have the musicians on the floats usually I've never heard of at least half the up and coming stars.

I'm sure country stars have performed too. A top one like Kenny Chesney, perhaps?

I can't remember the last time they had a country artist there. I think the last one was I THINK Toby Keith

Shania Twain might've performed before, I'm not certain.

There were some good floats this year, like the Gibson Guitar float and the KISS float, where the band was performing.

It was good to see the usual balloons once again, like the Pillsbury Doughboy and Pikachu balloons. And for the first time, the Red Mighty Morphin' Power Ranger balloon. I liked that.

I adored the pikachu balloon! Did anybody see that girl fall?
