I don't want them to take down Wal-Mart. That's my second home.

Much as I would like to see Walmart crumble, I can't imagine the circumstances that would lead to that.  Unless some strong legislation against their nasty practices actually got written, passed, and enforced.

If Wal-Mart went out of business, hopefully that would mean another chain replaced it by offering even cheaper products endorsed by reality show stars.

I'm not surprised. People have turned more to Red Box and On-Demand services these days.

We didn't have a Blockbuster in my area for too long. It bought out a local video store we had called Crazy Mike's Video. It's since closed. And our last video store we had, called Star Video, just closed down this July.

The one thing I really miss is being able to rent video games the old fashioned video rental way.

Have a great day!

No matter where technology brings us, I think there will always be a handful of video rental places in town. We have 1 left, Silver Screen Video. It's a little privately owned place that's still kickin!

5 years later...

There is still ONE Blockbuster out there... with no plans of closing. That's awesome. Wish I lived closer.
