The animation is somehow worse than that of the specials from the 60's. Not like Peanuts cartoons were ever the pinnacle of animation, but...

The animation was a bit off. Somehow, it didn't feel right.
I don't really watch too many movies on Thanksgiving. I'm usually watching something else or eating. "If you think a 401K is your mother-in-law's bra size, you might be a redneck."

yeah, that special is crappy. It reeks of edutainment and lacks the craftsmanship of the older specials. But at least it's better than Frosty Returns.

Hey now. I am in that boat too. I only ever recall watching movies on Thanksgiving that were being riffed on by Mike and The Bots. Other than that, it's the parade. I will likely pop in a video game or two to play with the kids.

There's not too many stuff to watch on Thanksgiving Day in the afternoon, except college football.

Like others have said, I rarely watch a movie on Thanksgiving. I usually just check out the parade and the football games. I do watch the specials on that day. Stuff like Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving, Garfield's Thanksgiving, etc.
I do try to watch Planes, Trains, and Automobiles and Home for the Holidays a day or two before Thanksgiving. |
