Man, I am not a dog person. But they seem to be great fodder for pop culture characters. There are so many in this thread that I like. My first addition would be Rude Dog. Mascot of a 80s skateboard clothing company and subsequent star of Saturday morning cartoon "Rude Dog and the Dweebs" , I can't help but think this Jack Nicholson accented, Soho-loft life, classic car mechanic character was inspired by sun surf and girls party animal /Budweiser mascot Spuds Mckenzie.I mean, I definitely associated them at the time. It's funny how kids' cartoons used to have an acceptable crossover with adult products and entertainment. |
|
And how adult entertainment would be converted into children’s cartoons to sell merchandise. RoboCop, Beetlejuice, Rambo, etc You love this signature.

The women of New Vegas ask me a lot if there's a Mrs. New Vegas. Well, of course there is! You're her. And you're still just as perfect as the day we met.
