The town I used to live in before I moved out on my own banned me from doing anything Halloween after scaring the daylights out of everyone XD Long story short no kids came to my family's house after the first hour and got to keep the candy. It involved a very convincing grim reaper costume, a few dummies and alot of fake blood.

Yep. It was well worth the effort to fill the dummies with fake blood and have pre recorded cries of mercy playing on speakers.
