I hate gnats so much.

Fall is the only time of year I don't miss living in Maine, Rhode Island has way more to do this time of year. I live in an area surrounded by apple orchards, it's amazing.

That sounds great!  Yeah, lots of plans this year, including apple orchards and pumpkin patches. :-)

That has to be a real sight to behold... all those orchards in the Fall.

My wife's grandfather lives on top of a mountain in WV and you can see miles of mountain tops covered in trees from there. Can't imagine how that must look come this time of year.

I actually went to WV one year during the fall to go caving, and yeah, it's AMAZING.  

Took the family apple picking this afternoon. I think it was the first time I've been since I was a kid. Now time for homemade apple crisp. The dinner of champions.

The Playoffs are next month, but sadly the ATL Braves have failed to qualify.

The Chicago Cubbies are on the verge of qualifying after a 12-year hiatus.

I guess this means Steve Bartman is forgiven.

Sweet. That had to be a blast.  You got to see the best WV has to offer above AND BELOW ground.

The leaves are already changing.

The leaves in upstate NY are already insane. So pretty, but I confess I am not looking forward to raking.
