That is sad. She was indeed a very good actress. May she rest in piece.
And yeah, that would give the Simpsons producers a reason to kill off Edna Krabappel, which would also mean that Ned Flanders would lose his second wife. |

That may make 2 main characters now one that probably wasn't on the chopping block to get the axe with the sad death and another that is nameless. Or they save that till later.

In tribute to Marcia Wallace, FOX will be re-airing the classic Simpsons episode, Bart the Lover this Sunday at 7:30pm right before a new episode.

Seriously? They always went old-school with Simpsons episodes when a celebrity died. When Elizabeth Taylor died, they showed Lisa's First Word, which Taylor had a very small role as the voice of Maggie, and they showed Stark-Raving Dad not long after Michael Jackson's death.

They claimed it had something to do with difficulties with clearing out copyrights. I remember hearing about something like that when they aired Stark Raving Dad where they played the episode the week after they were originally said they were going to.

So now they're saying the death will be revealed during season 26.

The 26th season premiere is tonight, and from what I've heard in the description, a Springfield resident dies. The episode we've been waiting for has come.

I'm guessing it's going to be Krusty.

@Derk: You know, you might be right.
