Okay, enough of the reruns. There's a new episode this week.

"Beverly has trouble accepting Adam deep feelings for Dana; Lainey and Barry convince Murray to watch football with Lainey's dad."

Yay! At long last, a new episode.

I could definitely relate to Adam in this week's episode. I was the short, late bloomer in school too. There were guys in my class who could grow full beards if they wanted to in high school, but I looked like I just walked out of 5th grade. It's tough.

Philadelphia Eagle fans are known for their immature behavior and Barry and Murray look to be true fans!

Let's see what the Goldbergs are doing this week.

Van People

When Murray takes Erica's car privileges away, Erica and Barry retaliate
by buying their own shabby used black van. Meanwhile, Adam gets voted
in the yearbook as "nicest guy," which results in a suspension when he
objects.

The stars aligned and I've finally seen this show.

Did people really say "narc" and "deal with it" in 198X? And existentialist fan theories about Ferris Bueller?? (no way)
The line about shoulder pads also seemed overplayed to me.

I remain convinced Jeff Garlin only gets work because people think he's George Wendt.

I'm gonna need a couple more episodes to determine if it will grow on me. I should keep an eye out for the LoZ episode I heard about, that's a hook for me.

It does grow on you. It started out slow for me too.

Happy Mom, Happy Life

Dana and Adam are given a doll to parent for a school project, but end up in jeopardy of failing because of Beverly's "grand-smothering." Meanwhile, Erica tries to get back at Barry for monopolizing her best friend's time by joining the JTP.

Another great episode!

I liked how Adam talked about the toy crazes of the 80s such as Transformers, G.I. Joe, Care Bears and Cabbage Patch Kids, which was the main subject of this week's show.

Heart's "Alone" was played throughout the episode, sooooo for your listening pleasure...

I still haven't been able to watch the John Hughes episode from the week before. I want to get caught up as soon as I can.
