We are once again approaching that festive occasion when we set off dangerous flammable objects and eat way too much food!
What are your plans for this Fourth of July? You love this signature.

As usual, I will be getting together with my wifes extended family. Grilling, blowing all sorts of things to bits, and rocking out with my band.

It's a fair mix of ska punk alternative. We're pretty stuck in the 90's that way.

We're once again throwing our big 4th of July bash this year at our home place, but on the 3rd instead of the 4th. It's the 16th annual Red, White, and Boom celebration as we like to call it. We have lots of folks join us every year, and each year seems to bring more than the last. If any of you are passing through, or close to Marion VA, we'd love to have you stop by. We kick things off every year with the water fight around 2pm, and we have 30 water guns, 500 water balloons, 4 hoses, and 2 sprinklers to play in. Theres plenty of other fun activies as well, as we have the corn hole tournament, horse shoes, frisbee, bad mitton, volleyball, four square, face painting, hide and seek, scavenger hunt, and more all set up. The grub will be ready around 6, with plenty of hotdogs, bbq chicken, chips, salads, slaws, pies, and watermelon for everyone. The live music kicks off at 7, and is a mix of country, bluegrass, classic rock, oldies, and dance. Fireworks at dark, and the bonfire immediately after. It's the most fun this side of 1989! www.retroramblings.com
