What I wouldn't give to eat at Shoney's again. "Magic can happen to you."

Vaporman87 wrote :I have been to Geek Bar. It's unfortunate that the article mentions barcades but misses Logan Hardware. I may check out those other places but in my circle, Logan Hardware is it. Woodfield Mall is not in the city proper, so I probably won't get to this new place any time soon. |

There's restaurants that are purposely nostalgic, but don't really invoke that feeling for me.
Example A) Mel's Drive in - San Francisco Fun place to eat at and I dig the atmosphere but I wasn't born in the 50s so this doesn't twang my heartstrings. Now, there's places that I have eaten since I was a kid and remain virtually untouched. Case in point Wendys - San Rafael California This is the only Wendy's within 45 minutes. The places is rundown and needs a major renovation. It's exactly the same as it's always been. |

There's a nice little restaurant in Disney World called the 50's Prime Time Cafe. It's all laid out to look like a house from the 1950s and has old looking TV sets playing vintage TV shows. They even fuss at you for being impolite and have you say "Please" and "Thank you" and urge you to eat your veggies.

Linux_Sage wrote :Where is that? The Magic Kingdom? I don't think we've eaten there. I would add in the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant as well. I spoke about it in the vacation thread. Awesome place. We'll be back to Disney in March, and already have reservations for the place. You love this signature.

For me is a restaurant called Bill Greys. If you didn't grow up or visit the Rochester area then you probably don't know what it is. But it's a nice little chain in the area that has an old feel to it and also the food is great too. Their Onion Rings are the best I've ever had and here's a tip. Dip them in ketchup.

Hardee's may be the best restaurant I've eaten in. Period. For great burgers and biscuits, you must go to Hardee's.

well this place had a sister restaurant that was just about a half mile down the road from it between the goodwill and ingles grocery it was in a little mini mall like string of stores while my mom looked for bargains she shopped a little longer than we did me and my brother would go into frosty freeze 2 and get frozen custards reason why we went there instead the original is because they would give you so much more for the same price sadly it went out of business years ago so i go here to get my custard they make it almost just like the 2nd one did just smaller. wendy's is another one but i could not find a picture of the exact one. they changed it's design since i was a kid but this place still has the best double cheeseburger in town i judge it by which one has the most cheese stuck to the wrapper to eat after your done they recently raised there prices if you want there good burgers from a buck 25 to 3 dollars which is crazy but i still go occasionally, 'you think just because a guy reads comics he can't start some sh*t'

Vaporman87 wrote : It's in Hollywood Studios. In front of that little lake they have there. I liked the place, except at the time I was in a sour mood 'cause of the bad weather and a mess, wet poncho I had to carry around everywhere. Wir sprechen zu viel, aber wir sehen zu wenig.
