I never caught that. When we watched the original at my brother's house yesterday, I was surprised when I saw the opening scene. I knew there was something different about it.

Don't get me wrong. I like the original, but I was just caught by surprise that it wasn't the remake.

I read the book in school and we watched both movies.

Differences:

In Homeward Bound, the animals' names were Shadow, Chance and Sassy, but in the original they were named Lauth, Bodger and Tao.

Homeward Bound was filmed in Oregon. Incredible Journey was filmed in Ontario.

I have a lot of them, but I brought my priceless one with me when I moved from my parent's home: The Lion King (VHS).

If I ever recall what else I have (or used to have), I will make sure to go back to this topic.

I had Toy Story on VHS, but I gave it to my niece and nephew. I used to play that tape over and over and over as a kid. I simply could not stay away from it!

I'm hoping to get Robin Hood and Dumbo next.

I did manage to get Robin Hood awhile back and got Dumbo today. (That and Fantasia are the oldest Disney films in my collection.)

My parents practically have all of the Black Diamond VHS releases. The only one I think they don't have is the Aristocats.  

I'm looking to buy more of the blu-rays. Right now we only have Beauty and The Beast but the price tag on Disney films is pretty steep- usually around $30.

Maybe I will pick up some must-haves like Frozen and Aladdin this year
