For what reason was this particular episode "banned"?

it focused on a terrorist theme by having a package given to baloo said to be a "cuckoo clock" but is really a time bomb to provoke a war between two characters to boost weapon sales. it aired on the toon disney channel once supposedly as a mistake

Typical over sensitivity to stuff.

according to wikipedia it may have also been banned due to 9/11. same reason for the pok'emon episode with the giant tentacruel that destroys a building, even though they left it in the english intro

That Pokemon episode was actually banned before 9/11. I would remember being an avid watcher of it back in 1999 and 2000 that not once has Kids WB ever aired that episode. I even remember when they aired the episodes in chronological order and they'd always skip that episode.

I've always wondered why they never showed the giant Tentacruel episode.

I used to watch this as a kid and I loved it. I still think it has one of the best intros, they really don't make them like that anymore.

I seem to remember that this show had an hour long premiere, anyone else remember that?

The intro is just epic. Sometimes I wish I could be like Kit Cloudkicker in the skies when I see it.

Are you talking about the pilot episode? No pun intended. Yeah, it's two hours long.

Listening to that intro gives me goosebumps. Retro goosebumps.

Yeah that must be it. I just have a vague memory of driving by a dairy queen and being excited about that episode coming on soon.

Great show, i thought it was a nice show with some Jungle Book characters.

This show had a nice cast especially Sally Struthers as Becky.

I had a crush on Rebecca Cunningham and Kitten Kaboodle when i was 8 and i thought this was a nice retro show set in a timeless period.
